I am slowly trying otu a few cad apps on the macbook, i will update this blog as i try new ones out,
so far Rhinoceros and Silo.
I have have actually had more success running Rhino based plugins in Parallels.
Rhino4 (windows version with Tsplines plugin)
and Gemvision Matrix (Rhino plugin)
I've been running Rhino,tsplines, and rhinogold via Vmware / windows 7 on my Macbook pro for the last 2 years. For the most part its been hassle free, large tsplines files can cause a big slow down. But since the release of Rhino5 wip it seems to run much smoother and faster.
